EAST COAST GANG INVESTIGATORS ASSOCIATION

MAGLOCLEN, East Coast Gang Investigators Association, Federal Bureau of Investigation – Newark Division, New Jersey State Police and the New Jersey Department of Corrections will co-host the 11th Annual East Coast Gang Investigators’ Association Information Sharing Conference at the Atlantic City Hilton Casino Resort, 3400 Pacific Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401, (800) 257-8677.

The agenda for this information sharing conference will include material from federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies focusing on a wide range of domestic and international gangs and all aspects of their associated activities. Various gangs will be examined with regard to their propensity for violence, involvement in the narcotics trade and use of firearms. Other topic areas to be covered include an east coast gang overview, Asian gangs, Russian Organized Crime, DMI, Haitian gangs, RICO cases, La EME/ Surenos and a look at gang life on the street and behind the walls. All topics are tentatively confirmed.
On Tuesday morning, 8:30 a.m-11:30 p.m., there will be an interactive RISS Gang Presentation for the newly assigned gang officer or intelligence analyst. This class is limited to 100 participants on a first come first serve basis. Please check the box on the registration form if you are interested in attending this class (a limited number of laptops will be available for use by class participants).

Monday, October 11th, will be a travel day with registration being held from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. An

additional registration will be held on Tuesday, October 12th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The conference will commence at 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, October 13th and end on Friday, October 15th at approximately 1:00 pm. THE CONFERENCE IS RESTRICTED TO CRIMINAL JUSTICE PERSONNEL ONLY. Please be sure to have your criminal justice identification at the time of registration. There is a $150 registration fee, which includes continental breakfast Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, two luncheons, breaks and conference related materials. Make checks payable to ECGIA. An optional fee of $60 will be collected at registration for those attendees wanting to participate in the information sharing/hospitality on October 12th through October 14th. Please mention that you are with East Coast Gang Investigator’s Association when making your hotel reservations. Hotel space is limited and subject to availability. The room rate is $59.00 single/double plus 14% tax, $3.00 NJ Room Occupancy fee and $2.00 NJ Tourism fee. A state parking surcharge of $5.00 per car and is valid per stay for both valet parking and the self-park garage for overnight hotel guests. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Reservations made after September 27, 2010 are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. There is a $5.00 per day parking fee for attendees not staying at the hotel.
